About

IT Engineers ensure that an organisation's technology infrastructure is reliable and secure.

Working with both hardware and software, they design, develop, and maintain technology systems to support business needs and objectives.

What careers can it lead to?

Typically, an entry-level IT Engineer position will include supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.

With a few years of experience, the engineer may take on more complex projects and may choose to specialize in a specific area of IT Engineering, such as Network, Security, or Cloud Engineering.

Seasoned IT Engineers can become Directors and oversee the entire IT infrastructure of a business.
