On this course, you'll learn how to design and develop effective data loading patterns, data architectures, and orchestration processes. You'll also delve into building Lakehouses and Data Warehouses, using Data Factory pipelines, Spark, KQL, and implementing Real-Time, and security and governance issues.

At Firebrand, we are proud to be one of the few companies in the world designated a Microsoft Cloud Partner. By studying with us, you access official Microsoft courseware and practice papers, learn from expert Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs), and retain information faster through our time-tested Lecture | Lab | Review method.

At the end of this course, you’ll sit the official DP-700 exam and achieve your Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer certification.

You will learn about:

  • Data Ingestion & Transformation: Implementing batch and incremental data loading patterns using Data Factory pipelines and Dataflows Gen2

  • Data Storage & Modeling: Designing, creating, and managing lakehouses and data warehouses, including lakehouse implementation and managing Delta Lake tables

  • Real-Time Intelligence: Ingesting and processing streaming data using KQL (Kusto Query Language), Eventstreams, and Spark Structured Streaming

  • Data Engineering with Spark: Utilizing Apache Spark for data transformation, including techniques like windowing, aggregation, deduplication, and denormalization

  • Governance & Security: Implementing security measures, data governance, and managing workspace settings and access controls

  • Monitoring & Optimization: Monitoring performance, handling errors, and optimizing data engineering solutions within the Fabric environment

Yes, we do provide courses suitable for beginners. However, Firebrand's courses aren't easy and it's essential that you are interested and actively pursuing a career in IT.

Traditional training providers usually run their courses from 9am to 5pm. At Firebrand Training we maximise the number of learning hours to minimise the number of training days, so you’ll be back to your job as quickly as possible.

Firebrand's courses are constantly reviewed. We ask our delegates for feedback after every course. We are official partners with leading vendors and therefore, we're provided with certification changes and updates, which we can then implement in our course delivery at a very early stage. This feedback is then analysed in view of changes or discrepancies. We will then address the topics mentioned and have a panel of subject matter experts provide us with valuable suggestions for improvement and solutions.
