Firebrand’s sector-leading Level 3 IT Technical Salesperson Apprenticeship trains apprentice to sell their business’ technical products and services. Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) are developed to maintain good relationships with existing clients, and gain repeat business from customers both internal and external, UK or internationally. Apprentices will also approach potential customers. They maintain a thorough understanding of existing technologies and those that are emerging.
The End Point Assessment (EPA) will be carried out covering a Professional Discussion underpinned by a portfolio of evidence, along with a Project Report with questioning. The project may be based on a sales process, problem-solving, technical ability or sales leads.
Through the apprenticeship our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Learning Mentors (LMs) and world-leading trainers will prepare learners to work across multiple sectors. Apprentices will have a thorough understanding of the components of infrastructure, how they are developed, installed, secured and maintained, both physically and virtually.
Firebrand deliver through a blended framework of Residential and Online Classroom learning, based on our Lecture, Lab and Review methodology. Your apprentice’s learning will be supported by our SMEs, get full access to an e-learning platform, as well as online labs to practice administration in a safe environment.

Apprenticeship progression routes are also available to learners with options like the Level 4 Sales Executive and Level 4/5 in Sales and Marketing.

All Apprenticeships end with the End Point Assessment (EPA). This is completed by a third party, the End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO). The EPA encompasses the evaluation of all of the work completed throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship.
For the Level 3 IT Technical Salesperson Apprenticeship, the EPA consists of:
The apprentice will only enter the EPA ‘Gateway’ once the Employer is content that the apprentice is working at or above the occupational standard. In making this decision, the in-work mentor may take advice from Firebrand, but the decision must ultimately be made by them.
The EPAO determines when all other Gateway requirements have been met, and the EPA period will only commence once the EPAO has confirmed this.
The EPA assessment period in Gateway can be anything from 4 weeks to 6 months.
