What are Apprenticeships?

Apprenticeships are the best of both worlds. 

Apprentices work for a company and, as part of the Apprenticeship programme (or 'Standard’), have the chance to learn and develop new skills.

Apprenticeships are free for learners, fully supported by Government funding.

There are no restrictions based on age, education level, employment, or other factors — anyone can apply.

Apprenticeships help businesses train existing staff in their current role or recruit new talent into their organisation to develop new skills. Apprenticeships are a popular way to address the UK digital skills gap.
