The PMP certification is provided by PMI (the Project Management Institute). The Institute publishes the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK).
What’s the difference between PRINCE2 and PMP?
PRINCE2 provides a framework in which to manage projects – the methodology. PMP focuses on the skills and knowledge that you require to manage a project through the lifecycle. You would actually benefit from having knowledge of both, providing a more rounded approach to project management.
