You will receive a PEEC Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate upon successfully passing the exam.

To complete the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, you must hold a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt.

You may be asked for this as part of your enrolment. It is recommended to complete the Green Belt certification first, as it provides a solid foundation and prepares you for the advanced concepts covered in the Black Belt course.

Should I attempt the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt if I already have the PMI Project Management Professional® (PMP®)? What are the differences between Lean Six Sigma and PMP?

Both certifications are internationally recognised and highly respected. They also complement each other, so depending on the course of your career you may wish to invest in both.

PMP focuses on general Project Management principles and covers a wide range of industries and types of projects. PMP is governed by the Project Management Body of Knowledge, also known as the PMBOK Guide, with methodologies that can fit both Waterfall and Agile Project Management approaches.

In contrast, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt focuses on process improvement and quality management and is primarily used in businesses with a strong focus on process optimization and quality control, such as Manufacturing and Service Industries. Lean Six Sigma is designed to reduce waste and defects while improving process efficiency.

Therefore, if you’re aiming for roles such as Process Improvement Consultant, Quality Manager, Operational Excellence Leader, and so on, Lean Six Sigma is the way to go.
