Skills Bootcamps are flexible employability programmes funded by the UK Government as part of the Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Plan for Jobs.

Skills Bootcamps were created by the Department of Education to increase employability in adults and reduce the IT skills gap.

These flexible programmes give people the opportunity to build IT skills and interview with a local employer.

Although they are free to learners, they are not free training; rather, they allow them to train for free in order to get a job. As part of the scheme, learners have to interview for the companies and roles chosen for them by our Support Team.

At Firebrand, we specialise in accelerated training — our Skills Bootcamps take 12 weeks, enabling candidates to progress faster.

Skills Bootcamps help employers recruit and develop their workforce with the exact digital skills they need.
