On this accelerated 4-day CREST Registered Penetration Tester (CRT) course, you'll learn to carry out basic vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tasks. You'll use these skills to assess your systems, networks and applications for vulnerability to cyber-attacks - 20% faster than other training providers.

Exam Track

The CREST Registered Tester (CRT) exam is an open book exam divided into two parts:

  • A practical examination testing skills and knowledge needed to carry out effective security assessments
  • Multiple choice answers examining your technical knowledge

Exam Time: 2.5 hours in total.

Pass mark: You must achieve a score of 60% (at least 90 marks out of 150).

Structure:

The exam is split into 4 different set of questions:

  • Practical section relating to fundamental knowledge of IT Security Infrastructure
  • Windows Infrastructure Security Testing
  • Unix Infrastructure Security Testing
  • Application Security Testing

There are 5 possible answers for each question and only one correct answer.

The exam fee is not included in the course price. If you wish to take the exam, we'll provide instructions on how to register with CREST.

To achieve a CREST Registered Status, you must pass both the Crest Practitioner Security Analyst (CPSA) and CREST Registered Tester (CRT) exams.
