2021

Daniel Krüger became Sales Director DACH of Firebrand Training GmbH in June 2021. In this new role, Daniel Krüger, as a member of the global management team, will focus on sales management for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Daniel Krüger

"With him, we are pleased to have an experienced and successful manager with many years of B2B sales expertise in the area of complex IT service lines on board. He will continue the ambitious growth course and the Firebrand success story in the German-speaking region," says Robert Chapman, founder and co-CEO.

Our training centers are NOW open again.

Britta Homscheid, Marketing Manager of Firebrand Training GmbH, comments: "We are pleased to welcome you back to our certification courses! All areas are usable again under consideration of all required hygiene and distance regulations. All necessary safety measures have been taken to protect all participants as best as possible during the course."

Because after all, the protection of staff, participants and partners is our top priority. We are determined to keep our promise and provide training to people who trust us to provide training.

In 2021, we will continue to offer both online instructor-led (OIL) training for our customers, as well as face-to-face courses again (taking all necessary measures to protect everyone from the pandemic).

OIL as an addition to our offer

The OIL trainings enable our participants to attend trainings from home and to get a certification. This uses Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex, which provide a comprehensive, interactive classroom, allowing participants to be immersed in learning and replicating the physical experience as closely as possible.

Paul Dillenburg, Managing Director of Firebrand Training GmbH, comments, "As the response from "online instructor led" OIL training has been very good with our customers, we will continue to offer both face-to-face and online training. It is clear to us that the majority of our customers prefer firebrand intensive training in the form of face-to-face training - nevertheless OIL has established itself as an additional alternative form of training in a short period of time. As the response of "Online Instructor led (OIL) trainings has been very good with our customers, we will continue to offer both face-to-face and online trainings."

2020

A year that many would probably have imagined differently. At the end of the first quarter, in March, the corona virus caused a worldwide lockdown. Also affected was our training center, which had to close for several weeks. In order to continue our business, we developed a new form of learning overnight: Online Instructor-Led (OIL) Training.

2019

Firebrand has experienced another year of fast, sustained growth in 2019. Not only have we expanded our offerings, but our commitment to quality has seen widespread industry recognition.

In the first quarter of 2019, Firebrand is all about Microsoft. As a Microsoft Learning Partner, Firebrand is one of the first providers to offer certification courses for the new role-based Microsoft Azure certifications. In collaboration with Microsoft, 2 training sessions have already been held for Firebrand employees on this topic in the first quarter. This will allow our course consultants to better present and target the new role-based training courses and certifications to our customers and demonstrate the benefits.

In July, we received the Fair Train Work Experience Quality Standard Gold, which is the highest level. Fair Train is a leading expert in quality assurance for all forms of work-based learning.

For the tenth year in a row, Firebrand was named one of the top 20 best IT training companies of the year.

As a training partner, Firebrand was awarded the prestigious EC Council ATC Circle of Excellence Award for 2018/19 in recognition of our contributions to cyber security workforce development.

We were also pleased to announce the winner of our Free Training For Life competition - Arjan Op't Hof, Senior Engineer Windows at Solvinity!

In early August, Firebrand opens an office and training center in Austria to better serve the needs of our Austrian customers and now offer certification courses in Vienna. In the first quarter of 2017, Firebrand is devoting itself entirely to the topic of IT security - with new security courses in the portfolio, information and campaigns around IT security. All Firebrand employees take an online course on data security in the workplace and receive a personal certificate.

Firebrand is stepping up efforts to collect personal stories and experiences from participants, partners and employees. Graduates, for example, share how they fared before, during and after the course, while employee stories provide a glimpse into Firebrand's day-to-day operations. Paul Dillenburg, Managing Director of Firebrand Training GmbH, explains: "We are pursuing the strategic objective of integrating our customers, our partners and our dedicated employees even more closely into the further development of our company. This will allow us to better target and develop our range of intensive IT training services to meet the ever-changing demands of the market."

Firebrand is introducing a new initiative to help employees get involved with nonprofit organizations and events. By volunteering, helping with social projects and fundraising runs, Firebrand employees are participating.

The training center is connected to the Hotel Leuenberg in Hölstein and only 25 minutes by car from Basel. It offers good travel options for customers from the south of Germany and Switzerland. "With the decision to open a training center in Switzerland, we are responding to the wishes of our customers from Switzerland and southern Germany. Now our customers have several options in which training center they would like to complete their certification courses using the Firebrand accelerated training method," says Paul Dillenburg, Managing Director of Firebrand Training GmbH. Firebrand's training centers are designed for disruption-free learning. Together with trainers with practical experience, course participants can apply the Firebrand accelerated Training Method. In doing so, Firebrand offers IT and project management training courses that require significantly fewer training days than traditional training to deliver the learning content and prepare for the certification exam.
