Prerequisites

To apply for the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® exam, you must meet the following criteria:

Education: A secondary degree (such as a high school diploma, GED, or global equivalent)
Agile Experience: At least 24 months (2 years) of Agile project experience within the last 5 years
- Note: Holding an active PMP® credential satisfies this requirement, but it is not mandatory.
Agile Training: A minimum of 28 contact hours of formal training in Agile practices, methodologies, or frameworks
- This course, delivered by a PMI Authorized Training Partner (ATP), satisfies the training requirement.

Exam info

Firebrand’s PMI-ACP® course is designed to fully prepare you to sit the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® exam.

Please note: The PMI-ACP® exam fee is not included in this course. You must apply for and pay the exam fee directly with the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Format: 120 questions, including multiple-choice, multiple-response, drag-and-drop, and scenario-based questions
Exam Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
CPD Credits: 30 CPD certification credits awarded upon course completion
Delivery: Computer-based testing via Pearson VUE (in-person or online)
Exam Domains & Weighting:
- Domain 1: Agile Mindset – 28%
- Domain 2: Leadership – 25%
- Domain 3: Product – 19%

Each domain assesses Agile competencies, from foundational principles and mindset to team leadership, product delivery, and performance metrics.

Maintaining Your Certification: To maintain your PMI-ACP® credential, you must earn 30 Professional Development Units (PDUs) every 3 years.

Yes, we do provide courses suitable for beginners. However, Firebrand's accelerated courses aren't easy and it's essential that you are interested and actively pursuing a career in IT.
