Overview
On this accelerated PECB: ISO/IEC 27005 Foundation course, you will gain an understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles of information security risk management. After attending the training course, you can sit for the exam and, if you successfully pass it, you can apply for a “PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27005 Foundation” credential
In only 1 day you will learn learn about the structure of the ISO/IEC 27005 standard. You will also learn how to:
- Acknowledge the correlation between ISO/IEC 27005, ISO 31000, ISO/IEC 27001, and other standards and regulatory frameworks
- Understand the approaches, methods, and techniques used for the management of information security risks
- Deal with communication, consultation, monitoring and review of management of information security risks
At the end of this course, you’ll sit the PECB exam, and achieve your PECB: ISO/IEC 27005 Foundation certification. At the end of this accelerated course, you’ll sit the following exam at the Firebrand Training centre, covered by your Certification Guarantee:
ISO/IEC 27005 Foundation
This training course includes essay-type exercises, multiple-choice quizzes, examples and best practices used in information security risk management.
The participants are encouraged to intercommunicate and engage in discussion and the completion of quizzes and exercises.
Quizzes are similar to the certification exam.
