What you'll learn
The FCCM course in intended to give a officers involved in the supervision and management of cybercrime units and operations an overview of the key elements to consider within cybercrime investigations and other roles.
This course focuses on the skills required to:
- Understand and the key concepts of obtaining digital evidence.
- Legal, regulatory, standards and procedural considerations.
- Cybersecurity concepts.
- Policies and decision making.
At course completion learners will have knowledge of the following areas:
- Cybercrime Investigation – Law and Practice.
- Fundamentals of obtaining and using digital evidence.
- Fundamentals of incident response (IR).
- Collection and analysis of digital evidence from computer systems, networks and devices including imaging techniques, wireless surveys and kiosk-style triage of material.
- The application of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Cybersecurity concepts, including an understanding of IoCs, TTPs and current threat actors.
- Cybersecurity risk.
At the end of this course you will have proven that you have the knowledge to define and identify the core aspects of cybersecurity and cybercrime management including how to manage an cyber incident. You will also have an understanding of the core laws, regulations, standards and policy guidelines involved in the collection, analysis and reporting of digital evidence.

Prerequisites
Delegates should be employed within a supervisory role within a cybercrime unit or similar department and have a good understanding of investigation processes within law enforcement.
