Overview

On this accelerated Autodesk Certified Professional course, you’ll build knowledge and the skills to demonstrate your ability to solve complex challenges in workflow and design.

In just 2 days, you’ll apply the basic CAD principles and performed routine tasks involved in their job role with limited assistance from peers, product documentation, and support services. You’ll also build knowledge in:

Use polar tracking to restrict the cursor movement to specified angles
Create and edit polylines, arcs, polygons, and splines
Use the advanced options of the Trim, Extend and Lengthen commands

At the end of this course, you’ll sit Autodesk Certified Professional exam, and achieve your certification. Through Firebrand’s Lecture | Lab | Review methodology, you’ll get access to courseware, learn certified instructors, and train in a distraction-free environment.

Prerequisites

Before attending this accelerated course, you should have knowledge in:

Technical drawing and design
The Help system within AutoCAD
Basic techniques used to create and modify objects with accuracy in an AutoCAD drawing
Annotation tools, layouts, printing, and alternative outputs
Organising objects, reusing content, and managing drawings

It is also recommended that you have approximately 1200 hours of real-world AutoCAD software experience and a general understanding of the following topics:

Drawing and organising objects

Advanced editing functions
Advanced layouts, printing, and alternative outputs
Annotation techniques
Reusable content and drawing management
