Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for the AgilePM® V3 Foundation certification, making it accessible to anyone interested in agile Project Management.
It is recommended that delegates have a basic understanding of what Scrum is and how it works.
However, for the Practitioner level, candidates must have passed the Foundation exam.
This ensures a solid understanding of AgilePM® principles before moving on to more advanced concepts and practical applications.
Exam info
The AgilePM® V3 certification exam track is structured to ensure a comprehensive understanding and practical application of AgilePM® principles.
Here's an outline of the exam track:
Foundation
● Format: Multiple-choice questions
● Duration: 40 minutes
● Number of Questions: 50
● Pass Mark: 50% (25 out of 50)
● Focus: Understanding AgilePM® principles, lifecycle, roles, techniques, governance, and control.
Practitioner
● Format: Scenario-based questions
● Duration: 2.5 hours
● Number of Questions: 4 complex questions, each with multiple parts
● Pass Mark: 50% (40 out of 80)
● Focus: Applying AgilePM® principles in real-world scenarios, advanced lifecycle configuration, leadership, Scrum integration, multi-team management, and risk management.
Please note that you cannot take the Practitioner Exam if you fail the Foundation Exam.
The validity period for all APMG exams will be limited to 12 months from the booking date.
Requests to reschedule within this period will be accepted in the usual way, but extensions beyond this period will not be possible.
