AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01)

Prepare for your AIF C01 AWS Certified AI Practitioner exam in just one day with Firebrand.

What you’ll learn

This one-day AWS Certified AI Practitioner course is designed to help you evaluate your readiness for the official AIF C01 AWS Certified AI Practitioner exam, which validates in-demand knowledge of AI, Machine Learning (ML), and generative AI concepts and use cases.

This intermediate-level course prepares you for the AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) exam by providing a comprehensive exploration of the exam topics. You'll delve into the key areas covered on the exam, understanding how they relate to developing AI and machine learning solutions on the AWS platform. Through detailed explanations and walkthroughs of exam-style questions, you'll reinforce your knowledge, identify gaps in your understanding, and gain valuable strategies for tackling questions effectively.

The course includes review of exam-style sample questions to help you hone your test-taking abilities. By the end, you'll have a firm grasp on the concepts and practical applications tested on the AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification exam.

Please note that this course does not include hands-on labs. The session focuses on exam preparation and conceptual understanding of the AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) certification domains rather than building or deploying AI solutions during the class.

In just 1 day, you will learn about:

  • The fundamentals of AI and ML, focusing on how these ideas show up in practical AWS use cases

  • Exploring the growing role of generative AI and foundation models

  • Reviewing how services such as IAM, SageMaker tooling, and monitoring services help maintain secure and trustworthy AI systems

  • Understanding concepts such as bias, fairness, transparency, and human oversight, and how these ideas influence the way AI systems should be designed and deployed in relation to Responsible AI

  • Recognising common patterns in exam questions and practicing identifying key requirements in a scenario to understand which AWS services are being referenced, and narrowing down the most appropriate answer

Curriculum

You’ll train across 5 modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of AI and ML

Module 2: Fundamentals of Generative AI

Module 3: Applications of Foundation Models

Module 4: Guidelines for Responsible AI

Module 5: Security, Compliance, and Governance for AI Solutions

Prerequisites

You will benefit from having a general understanding of several core AWS services and how they are typically used.

Examples include Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, and Amazon SageMaker AI.

You should also have a basic awareness of common AWS concepts such as the shared responsibility model, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), and the structure of the AWS global infrastructure, including Regions, Availability Zones, and edge locations.

Some exposure to AI or machine learning technologies on AWS is helpful – around six months of general familiarity is sufficient.

You are not expected to have built production AI systems, but you should have encountered AI or ML tools and understand broadly how they are used.

A general awareness of AWS pricing concepts is also useful, particularly how AWS services are billed and how pricing models differ between services.
