IRCA PECB Accreditation

Course FAQ — Are Firebrand PECB courses accredited by IRCA?

The International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA) are a personnel certification body that assesses the skills and competence of auditors.

At Firebrand, our ISO-standard courses are accredited and provided in partnership with PECB, a personnel certification body that, unlike IRCA, in addition to auditors, also has the authorisation to assess consultants and other professionals worldwide.

PECB are not IRCA-accredited; instead, they are accredited directly under the ISO 17024 standard, which attests that PECB’s certification process is fair, trustworthy, and globally recognised.

In contrast, when taking an IRCA-approved course, after passing the exam, delegates have to approach IRCA separately, fill in forms, and pay additional fees not included in the initial certification training.

Because of this, it is beneficial to take a PECB ISO course with Firebrand.

This enables delegates to:

  1. Access official PECB ISO courseware to prepare for the official accredited certification exam;
  2. Receive certification from a professional personnel body accredited under ISO 17204 with global recognition and credibility;
  3. Take the official course and certification at the same location, without extra cost or paperwork.
