This accelerated ABPMP Certified Business Process Leader (CBPL®) course, is the highest level professional certification that ABPMP offers. It represents proof of a mastery level competency for those who pass the examination and become Certified as a Business Process Leader CBPL™.

The CBPL™ is unique in our rapidly changing market place. This BPM certification was developed by recognized Executive Level BPM practitioners to test the level of skill and competency in several areas of business transformation. This certification can be earned by having a minimum of 10 years experience in Business Process management.

The certification is designed to test practitioner’s mastery of all things BPM and includes questions on all phases of the business transformation life cycle as well as question dealing with strategy execution and the use of BPM technologies.

At the end of this course, you’ll sit the ABPMP exam, and achieve your Certified Business Process Leader (CBPL®) certification.   • Defining the role of the process analyst for capturing process documentation
  • Understanding the use of varied levels of detail used to capture process activities and procedures

Module 3: Process Modelling

Process Modelling Notations:

  • Understanding the origin and the types of business process modelling
  • Distinguishing between the Value Stream, Activity Based Costing methods and other approaches for modelling business process information
  • Identifying the types of process models

  • Identifying the key components of an effective symbols charts and functions

    • Distinguishing between the horizontal focus of the organization versus the traditional vertical focus
    • Understanding the definition of a process centric enterprise and the impact it can have on management’s accountability for performance

    Characteristics of the process culture:

    • Understanding what the characteristics of an enterprise process culture are and how they support the process centric strategies

    Process Management and Governance Roles:

    • Defining the role of the process owner
    • Describing how the process owner’s responsibilities differ from those of the functional manager
    • Explaining and distinguishing the different roles of the process owner, the project manager, the process analyst and the process governance team to accomplish their main responsibility

    Organizational Change Management:

    • Understanding how process integration will impact to the traditional organizational structure and management roles

    Module 8: Enterprise Process Management (EPM)

    Enterprise Process Governance:

    • Describing reasons and objectives of Enterprise Process Governance
