Prerequisites

You should have at least one year's experience in programming business / application logic. This should be for a variety of application types and hardware / software platforms using JavaScript. You should also have six to twelve months of experience programming in HTML and experience using Visual Studio and Windows 8 apps.

You should understand:

  • Arrays and collections
  • Variables, operators, and expressions
  • Prototypes and methods
  • Decision and iteration statements

And have experience:

  • Designing the various layers of an application for separation of concerns
  • Planning and designing user interaction solutions based on requirements
  • Designing and developing asynchronous solutions
