Overview
On this accelerated Aruba Certified ClearPass Expert (ACCX) course, you will prove your abilities to design, configure and troubleshoot various ClearPass products commonly used in large scale customer deployments. This includes ClearPass Policy Manager, Guest, Profiling, Onboarding, Onguard, Posture, Clustering, Redundancy, and external server integration.
Upon completion this certification validates that you:
- Understand how to add and manage NAD in ClearPass
- Understand ClearPass services, policies and enforcement profiles
- Understand how to integrate and use AD in ClearPass Know how to use Access Tracker for handling authentication issues
- Can work with ClearPass guest accounts, Web login pages and self-registration pages
- Understand Guest services and configuring Aruba Controller for guest authentication
- Understand health check process posture tokens
- Understand device profiling and attribute collectors
- Understand device on-boarding process and deployment
- Understand on-boarding services and single & dual SSID on-boarding

At the end of this course, you’ll sit the Aruba exam, and achieve your Aruba Certified ClearPass Expert (ACCX) certification.

Module 1: Deployment and Cluster (20%)
- Cluster Layout positioning of Publisher and Subscribers, Use of Policy Manager Zones
- High Availability and Redundancy Design, including Virtual IP addressing and Standby Publisher Licenses
- EAP and HTTPS server Certificates
- The Roles of Data and Management Port related to AAA traffic and HTTP Guest Traffic
- Authentication Sources Including Active Directory
Module 2: Guest Access Design and Implementation (24%)
- Guest Account Management
- Self-Registration both with and without sponsorship
- Implementation of both Server and Controller Initiated Captive Portal Authentication
- Implementation Guest Access on both wired and wireless infrastructure. Mainly focused on Aruba Networks Access layer devices. Cisco Gear will also be covered on the ACCX exam
- Guest Access with MAC caching
Module 3: Secure Access Design and Implementation (24%)
- Secure Access Services and Enforcement, Role Mapping
- Understand Service Selection Rules
- Radius CoA and Dynamic Authorization
- Integration of Authorization Sources and External Context Servers into Enforcement
- Integration of Endpoint Profiling into Enforcement
Module 4: Onboard Deployments and BYOD (12%)
- Onboard Portal Configuration, including the Network Settings
- Certificate Authority Configuration
- Authentication Methods and OCSP to insure proper Certificate revocation
- BYOD Certificate Management
Module 5: OnGuard and Endpoint Profile (12%)
- Design and Configuration of Posture Policies
- Quarantine and remediation based on Posture Token and the status of the agent.
- Configuration and enforcement of webauth service for posture
- Integration of Posture results in secure service Enforcement
Module 6: Administrative Access (4%)
- Customized Operator Profiles for ClearPass Guest
- Customized Admin Privileges for the Policy Manager
- ClearPass Admin Login service processing and profile mapping
- TACACS authentication from Network Access Devices
Module 7: Reporting (4%)
- Scheduled Insight reports
- Manually Run Insght repoprts
