What is the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program (MCPP)?

The Microsoft Cloud Partner Program (formerly known as Microsoft Partner Network, or MPN) is a global community that connects you to the relationships, insights, tools, resources, and programs to drive business growth.

What is the Microsoft Partner Capability Score?

The Microsoft Partner Capability Score is the primary metric Microsoft uses to measure partner capabilities in this programme. It's a composite score comprising:

Performance: the ability of partners to expand their customer base
Skilling: the capabilities and skills acquired as the number of people in a partner organization are certified
Customer success: the ability to enable growth in the use of Microsoft products, or in the expansion of Microsoft’s services and workloads used by customers

Why is the Microsoft Partner Capability Score important?

The Microsoft Partner Capability Score is important because it helps your business demonstrate its ability to provide high quality service to customers. It also ensures that customers who are searching for partners can trust Solution Partner Designations.

To earn a Solution Partner Designation, you need a minimum score of 70 points, with at least one point in each of the three categories above.
