SQL Server 2008 delivers on Microsoft’s Data Platform vision by helping your organisation manage any data, any place, any time. Your data can be stored and accessed in your largest servers within the data centre all the way down to desktops and mobile devices, enabling you to have control over your data no matter where it is stored.

This 6 day accelerated SQL 2008 program will teach students how to install and configure SQL Server 2008, how to maintain instances, manage security, maintain a database and perform data management tasks. They will also learn how to monitor and troubleshoot SQL Server, optimise performance and implement high availability.

We’ll then move on to show you how to design a SQL Server Instance and a database solution, design a database server security solution, or a database solution for high availability, and design a backup and recovery solution.

This program is aimed to teach you and to test you on the following Microsoft accreditations:

Prerequisites

Candidates for this certification are professionals who work in an enterprise-level organisation and designing, deploying, optimizing, maintaining, and supporting database service life cycle.

Further prerequisites:
