The Standard is a simple document outlining the typical job roles,
programme length, and entry requirements of an apprenticeship.

Similar to job specification, it’s geared towards learners, employers, and peers as a way to simplify the apprenticeship process.

At Firebrand, we have been instrumental in the development of Digital Apprenticeship Standards, working alongside a group of more than ten employers called Trailblazers — large organisations and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

The Trailblazer group determines job roles should be covered by Apprenticeship Standards, as well as the technical, knowledge, and behavioural competencies required for these jobs.

We continue to be part of the ongoing review of Apprenticeship Standards in order to ensure that our offer is aligned to employer requirements at all times.

In addition, we understand how important vendor certification is to the IT industry, which is why, through our partnerships, we ensure that, in most of our offering, apprentices also achieve vendor certification.

Firebrand Training is a member of the Register of Approved Training Providers (RoATP).
