This TOGAF®EA Bridge training is provided by Firebrand in collaboration with Mundo Cognito and is accredited by The Open Group.

This accelerated TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner Bridge certification provides validation that an individual has the knowledge, comprehension, and ability to analyse and apply the TOGAF Standard to developing, sustaining, and using an Enterprise Architecture.

The learning objectives at this level focus on application and analysis in addition to knowledge and comprehension. The purpose of this bridge learning path is to enable individuals who are TOGAF 9 Certified to obtain TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner certification. The bridge option exists to recognize the existing investment in TOGAF certification for individuals who have achieved the TOGAF 9 Certified qualification.

In just 2 days, you’ll learn how to apply the TOGAF approach to transform and manage change. You’ll also learn how to:

Module 1: The key changes in the TOGAF Standard
Module 2: The context within which an Enterprise Architecture practitioner must operate
Module 3: How to apply the stakeholder management technique
Module 4: How to implement the Architecture Vision phase including its applicable techniques
Module 5: How to implement the Architecture Development Method (ADM) Phases B, C,and D to develop an architecture, together with the applicable techniques
Module 6: How to implement the ADM Phases E, F, and G to implement an architecture, together with the applicable techniques
Module 7: How to support the ADM work

At the end of this accelerated course, you’ll sit the following exam at the Firebrand Training centre, covered by your Certification Guarantee:

Format: Section 1: 10 multiple-choice questions; Section 2: 4 questions
Number of questions: 24
Passing score: 18/30 (60%)

What is TOGAF®?

As the name suggests, TOGAF® is an Enterprise Architecture Framework – a series of methods, guidelines and tools for designing, implementing and maintaining an Enterprise Architecture. The TOGAF® framework was created by The Open Group, a global consortium of 700+ organisations whose objective is to advance business through the establishment of technology standards.

What is the TOGAF® ADM?

The Architecture Development Method (ADM) sits at the core of the method. It is the blueprint for developing and building an enterprise architecture. These are the key areas covered by the framework:

Business: an organisation’ governance, processes, and strategy;
Data Architecture: physical and logical data (and data management) assets;
Application Architecture: planning individual applications’ deployment, internal (within the business) and external (other applications) relationships.
Technology Architecture: hardware and software that support business, data, and application services, including IT infrastructure, middleware, networks, communications, standards, etc.

In addition to the ADM, this ever-evolving methodology includes tools, guidelines, standards and can integrate with other frameworks.

What is the latest version of TOGAF®?

The latest version of TOGAF is TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture which is based upon The TOGAF Standard – 10th Edition.

How do I become certified?

In order to become certified, you will need to pass the two standard TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Exams: Part 1 (Foundation) and Part 2 (Practitioner). These exams are challenging and it’s essential to keep up-to-date with the study material. Our TOGAF certification training course is designed to take you through both levels and the exam in just 3 days.

If a candidate has achieved certification for TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation or passed the Part 1 section of the Combined Part 1 and Part 2 examination, then they need only take the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Part 2 examination.

Candidates who have achieved the TOGAF 9 Certified qualification can achieve certification via the bridge learning path.
