I studied IT at college and then following a couple of years at a local IT company I spent the majority of my early career working in the NHS. I've been at my current employer, a cyber-security company, for over 6 years now extending my career to over 18 years. My training and certification as been inconsistent over the years, this was the first residential training I've ever attended.
I attended the TOGAF course to compliment my experience in architecture with a well respected industry certification. The course was slightly different to what I expected but was very beneficial and enjoyable, best of all I passed both exams. I will be using my new skills on internal and client deliveries and hope to teach my colleagues some of the techniques.
My future plan is to run a fantastic team of consultants who work efficiently and can deliver services to make a difference for our clients and the industry. I will be making sure I keep my training up as well as my teams. Firebrand will form a big part of that based on my recent experience.
