What is EC-Council C|ND®?
Certified Network Defender (C|ND®) helps you develop the skills you need to detect, respond to, and predict network threats.
The current version of this course is V2.
What does C|ND® V2 entail?
CND V2 includes an introduction to threat intelligence, in-depth attack surface analysis, and business continuity and disaster recovery concepts.
CND V2 also includes the latest version of the Adaptive Security Strategy; it used to be Protect—Detect— Respond; in V2, this strategy is Protect—Detect—Respond—Predict.
In addition, CND has a dedicated focus on:
- IoT Security
- implementing and managing the security of virtualization technologies such as Network Virtualization (NV), Software-Defined Networks (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), OS Virtualization, Containers, Dockers, and Kubernetes
- mobile security measures such as enterprise mobile device security and access control security
- cloud security, encompassing enterprise cloud security, AWS security, Microsoft Azure security, and Google Cloud Platform security.

Does this course include an exam?
Yes. As part of this accelerated course, delegates can sit the official Certified Network Defender v2 exam (code 312-38 ECC) at the Firebrand Training Centre and return to work certified at twice the speed.
