What is PRINCE2® Agile?

PRINCE (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) provides a framework for Project Managers to track the construction and delivery of products against a plan, allowing everyone on your team to approach the project with the same mindset. 

In contrast, Agile Project Management is a flexible way of thinking that breaks down tasks into stages. Agile trains people to think quickly and create solutions to issues on the spot, before they require substantial changes or reworking. 

Together, PRINCE2 and Agile bring you the best of both worlds: the ability to use a well-tested approach to projects and a more dynamic and fluid side of Project Management. The framework is also industry-agnostic, which means it can be applied to any project.

What is PRINCE2® Agile Foundation?

PRINCE2® has two certification levels, Foundation and Practitioner.

The Foundation level was developed for anyone involved with projects in an Agile context, whether Project Managers, Project Support, or part of the wider project team.

PRINCE2® Agile Practitioner helps you develop the skills you need to apply PRINCE2® principles and methodology to your company's Agile Project Management processes.

Who is this course for?

This course is accessible to anyone interested in Project Management, whether or not they have professional experience. There are no prerequisites to attend this course.

How long does the course take?

At Firebrand, we specialise in accelerated courses. The PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation Certificate in Agile Project Management course takes only 2 days, including the exam.

If you would like to take the Practitioner level too, you can achieve both in just 3 days, including both exams. Find out more.

You can take this course at our distraction-free training facilities in the UK; accommodations, meals, and the exam are included.

If you aim to achieve the Practitioner certification too, you can take our combined PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation and Practitioner Certificate in Agile Project Management course that takes only 3 days. At the end, you can achieve both certifications.

Regardless of your choice, your course fees include the official PRINCE2 examinations covered by the Firebrand Certification Guarantee.

MoSCoW prioritisation), project initiation, the Agilometer and the Risk Theme, managing Product Delivery (incl. Scrum, Plans and Progress, estimation, burn charts, IRs and Work Packages), Quality (Incl. DoD), directing projects, Kanban, Lean Start Up, Health Checks, and more.

Does this course include an exam?

Yes. As part of this accelerated course, you can take the official PRINCE2® Agile Foundation exam at the Firebrand Training Centre and return to work certified!
