Remembrance Day — Supporting the Armed Forces at Firebrand Training
At Firebrand, one of our core values is Care – we care for our learners, partners, and colleagues around the world and are proud to support the Armed Forces on Remembrance Day.
Our accelerated training helps people become competent, confident, and certified at twice the speed.
This is especially important in the field of IT, as the UK digital skills gap that has proved a challenge for most workplaces has only increased with the rapid advent of Artificial Intelligence and its implications for Cyber Security.
At Firebrand, we have a track record of supporting the professional development of the UK Armed and Police Forces through our accelerated courses, IT Apprenticeships, and bespoke training programmes, with a specific focus on Cyber Security. Through our Lecture | Lab | Review method, these dedicated professionals can absorb the information they need to keep our country safe physically as well as in the virtual space.
While some of our most popular courses accept ELCAS credits, our Apprenticeships have an active pledge to the Armed Forces Covenant and have been recognised with a Bronze Award in the UK Government's Defence Employer Recognition Scheme. In addition, we have been appointed the official provider of Cyber Crime Training for police officers and staff throughout the UK by the NPCC National Cyber Crime Programme.
Furthermore, as several of our colleagues have served, this is personal for us. We believe former service members bring excellent transferrable skills to IT and, together with the leading charities, FrontFoot.Life and FrontFoot.Jobs, we're working to support the transition of serving military, vets, and their families into civilian roles.
We know the dedication it takes to serve our country. This Remembrance Day, we're proud to serve you, our Armed Forces everywhere.
