Overview

On this accelerated APMG International Agile Programme Management (AgilePgM®) AgilePgM Foundation course, you will learn to adopt an agile approach to programme management with AgilePgM® guidance, training & certification

Developed in partnership with the Agile Business Consortium AgilePgM teaches you a disciplined but flexible agile approach to the management of organizational change – enabling you to play a crucial role in ensuring a programme captures its vision.

The guidance provides programme managers (and others involved with major business change initiatives) with a disciplined but flexible approach to the management of transformational organizational change, allowing for iterative and incremental delivery of outputs and benefits.

AgilePgM does not attempt to redefine the fundamentals of programme management, and assumes some knowledge of a programme management method. It builds on that knowledge to show how those involved in programmes may need to think, act and react differently in an agile environment.

At the end of this course you will certify your ability to:

• Help establish flexible agile programmes that respond to business change.
• Utilise agile methodologies to encourage successful programme delivery.
• Actively promote trust and close cooperation between stakeholders.
• Assist an organization in achieving transformational change faster, at lower cost and risk.

In just 2 days, you’ll learn the philosophy and principles of AgilePgM. You’ll also learn how to understand:

• The nature and structure of the lifecycle of an agile programme
• Approaches to the governance of a programme to ensure it is agile
• The essential products required to be in place to deliver an agile programme
• The structure and content of planning to support agile programme management
• The management and control of an agile programme
• How to deliver and monitor the quality of an agile programme and its associated projects
• The people involved in an agile programme, how they are organized and what they contribute.
• Communication and stakeholder management within an agile programme.

At the end of this course, you’ll sit the APMG exam, and achieve your Agile Programme Management (AgilePgM®) AgilePgM Foundation certification.
