You will get answers to these questions:

  • How is ASP.NET MVC different from building WebForms-based web applications?
  • How does Entity Framework 4.0 help me build n-tier applications?

You will learn how to:

  • Decouple your entity model from the data using Plain Old CLR Objects (POCOs).
  • Write classes that can track changes to their own state for n-tier development with Entity Framework.
  • Simplify your service deployment with zero config services with WCF 4.0.
  • Write rich web applications that are simpler to unit test.
  • Create REST based services based on the ASP.NET infrastructure

"A useful course for experienced .NET developers to gain a further understanding of features they may not have used in their everyday development and get certified within a short space of time."
Ryan Elliott, CGI. (16/1/2012 (Monday) to 22/1/2012 (Sunday))

"Intense, hard work but you learn a great deal. Our instructor was very helpful and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to get certified"
Richard Bartlett, Freestyle Interactive. (16/1/2012 (Monday) to 22/1/2012 (Sunday))

"Great training! Should be called FireHose training instead of FireBrand."
William Miller. (28/11/2011 (Monday) to 4/12/2011 (Sunday))

"We had a very professional and competent trainer - I suspect I didn't have the required background for the course but was still amazed by the level I achieved, thanks to his patience and clear explanations. Could probably have done with a few more days but that would have contradicted the accelerated learning approach... Facilities were excellent, food delicious, training materials very good. Environment surprisingly relaxed for the schedule..."
J.M. (3/10/2011 (Monday) to 9/10/2011 (Sunday))

"On the whole the training was very good and we had a very knowledgeable and helpful instructor. The facilities were very good and so was the hotel. The quality of the lectures was good also. "
Billy Tomlinson, Vanquis Bank. (1/8/2011 (Monday) to 7/8/2011 (Sunday))
