At the end of this month, Google will officially celebrate its 25th birthday!

Founded in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Google has become so well-known that most can't imagine the internet without it.

Aside from making search so much easier, Google's fun, dynamic brand has brightened many people's workdays with quirky Doodles and, best of all, Doodle Games!

10. Celebrating Pizza    

Did you know that this humble Italian dish is part of the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity? Learn more about the different types of pizza as you slice them in this fun little game.

9. Celebrating Garden Gnomes

Popular in Germany, these colourful ornaments were first brought to the UK in the 19th century by Sir Charles Isham. Catapult your gnomes to plant flowers in this quirky Google game. Press play.

8. Celebrating Bubble Tea

Dating back as early as the 17th century, Bubble Tea, also known as Boba Tea or Pearl Milk Tea, has exploded in popularity over the last few decades. Fix cute critters a drink in this fun game similar to Water Sort.

6. The 44th Anniversary of the Birth of Hip-Hop

Part creativity game, part exploration, this interesting Google Doodle allows you to customize hip-hop tunes by using a crossfader and other controls. You can even click the vinyl to ‘scratch’ the disk! Check it out.

5. Halloween

No Top 10 could be complete without mentioning Google's tradition of spooky-cute Halloween games. Graveyard, haunted mansion, even underwater—these characters have been everywhere. Wondering what Google will come up with this year.

4. Doodle Champion Island

Perhaps the cutest Google game, Doodle Champion Island has you stepping into the shoes of Lucky, a calico (c)athlete who explores mini-games and side-quests to collect seven sacred scrolls. Feline Lucky? Start the game.

3. Celebrating 50 years of Kids Coding

Google Doodle, Google Blockly, and MIT Scratch teamed up to create this fun little game, Coding for Carrots! Help a bunny gather its favourite foods by snapping together coding blocks based on MIT Scratch. Take a look.

2. Celebrating Ludwig van Beethoven's 245th Year

It's reputed that Mozart said of young Beethoven, “One day, [that boy] will give the world something to talk about.” 245 years after his baptism, Google celebrated the famous composer with a beautiful yet challenging game.
