matrix Quality Standard renewed for Firebrand Apprenticeships & Skills Bootcamps!

Great news! The matrix Quality Standard has been renewed for Firebrand Apprenticeships and Skills Bootcamps as a result of the holistic support we provide our learners.

Issued by The Department for Education (DfE), matrix is the international quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice, and/or guidance (IAG).

matrix accreditation takes place every three years, with annual Continuous Improvement Checks (CICs) in between.

The matrix Practitioner was highly impressed with our holistic approach to IAG provision and unwavering commitment to developing the entire person, not just technical proficiency, by expanding the professional capabilities that will equip our learners for sustainable and rewarding careers in the digital sector and beyond.

One comment in particular stood out in our report:

“Listening to feedback from employers and apprentices and identifying specific learner needs, some of which may be related to fallout from the pandemic, has resulted in Firebrand developing a wraparound support that is holistic in nature and addresses the training needs of their own staff, raising awareness for employers, and developing the soft skills and Careers IAG required by their apprentices.”
