What is BCS?

Founded in the UK in 1957, BCS, also named The Chartered Institute for IT, promotes wider social and economic progress through the advancement of information technology science and practice.

The institute was granted a royal charter in 1984, defining their purpose of setting and maintaining standards of competence, conduct and ethical practice within the IT profession.

What are the benefits of AMBCS membership?

BCS has more than 60,000 members in 150 countries, as well as a wider community of business leaders, educators, practitioners and policy-makers committed to their mission.

BCS Associate membership is a valuable asset in the IT industry. It helps you develop your professional recognition and offers opportunities for networking and training.
