Firebrand are delighted to join the BPP Education Group

In the summer of 2001, Stef and I decided to quit our jobs and launch Firebrand. Although we had a vision of where we wanted to go, we had no idea how exciting, rewarding and, to be candid, at times how stressful the next 20 years would be. We started with two courses and trained 63 people from the UK in our first year. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength.

Having survived 9/11, the credit crunch, and the global pandemic, we have trained over 123,000 students from 20,000 companies who live in 150 countries across a portfolio of more than 2,000 certification courses, Apprenticeships, and Skills Bootcamps.

Today marks the next chapter in the story, and we genuinely believe this is when the rocket ship Firebrand takes off and reaches escape velocity. We are excited and delighted to announce that from today we are part of the BPP Education Group. We could not think of a better partnership; their focus on a professional education with the resources to fuel our growth is a perfect fit.

BPP has over 45 years of experience in the education and training sector, offering professional qualifications and degree apprenticeships in various subject areas. In the UK, they are a private university with degree awarding powers. They educate professionals in nine of the top ten professional firms, four out of five of the magic circle law firms, and 86% of FTSE 100 companies. They also have offices in Eastern Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

I am sure you will share our excitement at this new venture’s opportunities for our staff and learners. We are supercharging our growth in existing markets (UK/Benelux/DACH/NORDICS), pushing into new ones, and deepening the development of our breadth of products.
