What is PRINCE2®?

PRINCE2® (Projects IN Controlled Environments) is a scalable, process-based approach to Project Management suitable for all types of projects. It emphasizes dividing projects into manageable and controllable stages.

The PRINCE2® certification scheme has two levels, Foundation and Practitioner. The Foundation Level focuses on key concepts, while the Practitioner Level focuses on applying and tailoring PRINCE2® practices to various project contexts.

Who is this course for?

This course is for all Project Managers (certified and uncertified), aspiring Project Managers, anyone involved in project delivery, and anyone aiming to enhance their Project Management skills.

Aside from a pre-read, there are no prerequisites to attend this course.

How long does the course take?

At Firebrand, we specialise in accelerated courses. The PRINCE2®7 Foundation certification takes only 2 days; if you'd like to take Foundation & Practitioner together, this course is only 3 days.

Where is the course delivered?

In the UK, delegates can take the course at our distraction-free training facility at Wyboston Lakes, Bedfordshire (accommodations & meals included) or in central London or Manchester.

If you reside abroad or are travelling, you can take the course at our training centres in Germany, The Netherlands, and other locations in Northern Europe.

Finally, you can also take the course online through live, instructor-led training (not prerecorded), from the comfort of your own home.

What will you learn?

If you choose the Foundation course, you will learn about key concepts relating to Projects and PRINCE2®, the way PRINCE2® principles underpin the PRINCE2® method, the importance of people in successful projects, and how PRINCE2® practices are applied throughout the project.

If you also take the Practitioner course, you will learn how to apply and tailor relevant aspects of PRINCE2® practices in context.

Does this course include an exam?

Yes. As part of this accelerated course, delegates can sit two official certifications — PRINCE2® 7th Edition Foundation Exam and PRINCE2® 7th Edition Practitioner Exam — at the Firebrand Training Centre and return to work certified!
