What skills do I need to become an IT Support Engineer?
To excel in this role, you’ll need a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication. While an education in Computer Science or Information Technology can be advantageous, it’s not essential. Many successful IT Support Engineers have gained expertise through self-study, hands-on experience, and industry certifications.
Kickstart your career with Skills Bootcamps
We are offering fully-funded, 12-week Skills Bootcamps in IT Support Engineer.
On this programme, you’ll develop a strong understanding of common concepts of computing hardware, networks, and modern workplace deployment of the cloud computing platform Microsoft Azure.
This will enable you to gain experience in not only vendor-specific terminology, but also how to support businesses in small to large-scale deployment of IT devices, services and solutions.
After completing your Skills Bootcamp, we provide six months of employment support. In addition to your Success Coach employability sessions, our Recruitment Advisors will send the most appropriate job opportunities directly to you.
