Overview

On this accelerated 10-day CompTIA Linux Network Professional (CLNP) course, you'll learn how to configure, manage and troubleshoot common wired and wireless networks. You'll also learn basic hardware, software, and networking skills necessary to function in an entry-level Linux role.

Combining theory and practice from official CompTIA Network+ and Linux+ curriculum, your expert instructor will immerse you in the course through our unique Lecture | Lab | Review technique.

You'll study emerging technologies, like mobile, cloud and virtualisation, and cover the four key areas of Network+:

  • Network architecture
  • Network operations
  • Network security
  • Troubleshooting

In addition to networking knowledge, you'll learn the basics of Linux+ including:

  • How to work at the Unix command line
  • Performing easy maintenance tasks: help out users, add users to a larger system, backup & restore, shutdown & reboot
  • Installing and configuring a work station (incl. X) and connect it to the LAN, or a stand-alone PC via modem to the Internet.

Train at twice the speed on this official CompTIA course

Firebrand is an Authorised CompTIA Platinum Partner. This means you'll get access to experienced instructors and up-to-date course material, officially approved by CompTIA.

During the course, you'll prepare for and sit the following CompTIA Network+ and Linux+ exams, covered by your Certification Guarantee.

  • Exam N10-006
