Overview
On this accelerated 3-day MCSE: Cloud Platform & Infrastructure (Advanced Server Infrastructure) course, you'll learn the skills to plan, design and deploy a physical and logical Windows Server 2012 R2 enterprise infrastructure. You'll develop the skills and knowledge to plan and implement a highly available, secure infrastructure with focus on Active Directory® federation Service (AD FS), public key infrastructure (PKI), and Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS).
With the guidance of our Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCT), you'll be immersed in Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) and learn how to:
- Describe an enterprise data center
- Plan and implement a server virtualisation strategy using System Center 2012
- Plan and deploy virtual machines on Windows Hyper-V®
- Plan and implement a virtualisation administration solution by using System Center 2012
- Plan and implement a business continuity strategy in a Windows Server 2012 environment
- Plan and implement a PKI deployment and AD FS server deployment
- Plan and implement Dynamic Access Control, Workplace Join and Work Folders
You'll learn all of this through our unique Lecture | Lab | Review technique, which combines both theoretical knowledge with practical tasks. This technique will accelerate your learning and ensure you have the necessary hands-on skills to apply your new knowledge when you return to work.

On this course, you'll be prepared for and sit the 70-414: Implementing an Advanced Server Infrastructure exam. This is covered by your Certification Guarantee. This course is an elective for the MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure certification.
This course is aimed at IT professionals with experience of previous Windows Server operating systems and are responsible for planning, designing and deploying a physical and logical Windows Server 2012 enterprise and Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) infrastructures.

To achieve the MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure certification, you are required to pass exam 70-414 as well as the exams aligned to one of the following MCSA:
