Overview

The accelerated Association of Business Process Management (ABPMP) Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP®) course, is specifically designed to challenge your knowledge and ability to apply the BPM CBOK® concepts and techniques used to improve business operations and enable organizational transformation.

CBPP (Certified Business Process Professional) is a certification program offered by the Association of Business Process Management Professionals International (ABPMP) to individuals who have demonstrated their knowledge and skills in the field of business process management.

To become a CBPP certified professional, individuals must pass the CBPP certification exam, which consists of 150 multiple-choice questions and must be completed within three hours. The exam tests an individual’s knowledge and skills in business process management and covers topics such as process modelling, process analysis and design, process improvement methodologies, process measurement and analysis, and process governance.

CBPP® certificate is focused on the experienced BPM practitioner. The exam will evaluate an individual’s knowledge and experience based on a rigorous examination and an assessment of work history and education. The Certification program is designed to promote the various competencies and expertise across the disciplines of the business process management profession.

At the end of this course, you’ll sit the ABPMP exam, and achieve your Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP®) certification. Business Process Management: This domain focuses on the concepts of Business Process Principles, BPM Lifecycle and BPM Professionals.
Process Analysis: This domain focuses on Process Analysis and Techniques of Process Analysis. Further, it also covers the approaches of Process Analysis
Modelling Process: This domain aims at Process Modelling Notations and Using Process Models
Process Design & Transformation: Further the domain includes Process Design and Critical Success Factors for Process Transformation.
Performance Management of Process: Subsequently, it covers Effective Process Measures. Also, it includes the importance and benefits of process performance management
Process Improvement Methodologies: Moreover, this domain focuses on Alignment of business process and enterprise performance. It also covers the Modelling and simulation as well as decision support for process owners and managers
Process Organisation & Change Management: This domain covers Process Orientation and Characteristics of the process culture. Also, process Management and Governance Roles as well as Organizational Change Management
Enterprise Process Management (EPM) : This domain focuses on building the understanding of Enterprise Process Governance and Process Frameworks
Business Process Management Systems (BPMS): This domain covers the concepts of BPM System Architecture and BPM System Components

Please note the CBPP® certificate is focused on the experienced BPM practitioner. The exam will evaluate an individual’s knowledge and experience based on a rigorous examination and an assessment of work history and education. The Certification program is designed to promote the various competencies and expertise across the disciplines of the business process management profession.

You will be required to describe in a narrative format that demonstrates your experience in the context of the knowledge areas of the BPM CBOK®. You will also be required to describe your BPM projects, what you did on those projects in terms of the situation and the business processes in focus and what you did to improve or transform the business processes. If you are not able to meet this experience requirement, it is suggested that you wait to apply and invest the time to acquire the requisite experience.
