On this accelerated Red Hat Certified Enterprise Microservices Developer course, you'll learn how to develop reliable JEE applications in a microservice-style environment.

In just 4 days, you'll learn how to use Microprofile APIs to develop microservice-enterprise Java applications, and how to provide, obtain and manage configuration properties to support your business' growth, both internally and externally. You’ll build knowledge on:

  • Default and custom ConfigSource and ConfigSource ordering
  • Implementing Health Check interface and Health Check Response Construct human-friendly Health Check Response
  • Security tokens in RESTful services and token-based authentication

At the end of your course, you'll sit EX283: Red Hat Certified Enterprise Microservices Developer exam.   • Module 2: Separate execution logic from business logic using Microprofile Fault Tolerance

Prerequisites

Before attending this accelerated course, you should have knowledge and skills in:

  • Openshift
  • JEE, including core Java concepts and APIs
  • Red Hat JBoss Developer Studio in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment

As well as the following courses and exams:

  • Red Hat Application Development 2: Implementing Microservice Architectures (JB283)
  • Introduction to OpenShift Applications (DO101) or equivalent experience

Red Hat Application Development 1: Programming in Java EE (JB183) is also recommended but not essential before attending this course.
