Prerequisites
In addition to professional experience, you should also have the following System Administrator-level knowledge:
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for Windows-based personal computers.
- Windows client management including endpoint security fundamentals.
- Networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and Domain Name System (DNS).
- Windows Server administration concepts including Active Directory and group policy principles and management.
- Basic concepts of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) security.
- Familiarity with Windows Intune.
- Basic understanding of Windows Server roles and services.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Configuration Manager features and administrative tasks including:
- Working with the System Centre 2012 Configuration Manager or newer administrator console
- Installing clients
- Hardware and software inventory
- Working with collections
- Reporting

- Managing software updates
