Cloudera - CCA Administrator
Overview
On this accelerated Cloudera Certified Associate (CCA) Administrator course, you will be able to demonstrate knowledge on the core systems and cluster administrator skills, and implement them into your business.
In just 2 days, you’ll also learn basic and advanced configuration needed to effectively administer a Hadoop cluster and how to enable relevant services and configure the cluster to meet goals defined by security policy; demonstrate knowledge of basic security practices. You’ll learn to:
- Install Cloudera Manager server and agents
- Configure a service using Cloudera Manager
- Efficiently copy data within a cluster/between clusters
At the end of this course, you’ll sit the Cloudera Certified Associate Administrator exam and achieve your Cloudera CCA certification. - Module 1: Install -Demonstrate an understanding of the installation process for Cloudera Manager, CDH, and the ecosystem projects.
- Module 2: Configure - Perform basic and advanced configuration needed to effectively administer a Hadoop cluster
- Module 3: Manage - Maintain and modify the cluster to support day-to-day operations in the enterprise
- Module 4: Secure - Enable relevant services and configure the cluster to meet goals defined by security policy; demonstrate knowledge of basic security practices
- Module 5: Test - Benchmark the cluster operational metrics, test system configuration for operation and efficiency
- Module 6: Troubleshoot - Demonstrate ability to find the root cause of a problem, optimise inefficient execution, and resolve resource contention scenarios
Exam Track
As part of this accelerated course, you’ll sit the following exam at the Firebrand Training centre, covered Certification Guarantee:
Cloudera Certified Associate Administrator (CCAE131)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Exam code: CCA131
- Passing score: 70%
- Languages: English
- Number of questions: 8–12 performance-based (hands-on) tasks on pre-configured Cloudera Enterprise cluster
- Format: Each CCA question requires you to solve a particular scenario. Some of the tasks require making configuration and service changes via Cloudera Manager, while others demand knowledge of command line Hadoop utilities and basic competence with the Linux environment

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this accelerated course, however, a background in system administration or equivalent training is strongly recommended.
