Overview

On this accelerated 3-day MCSE: Cloud Platform & Infrastructure (Designing Server Infrastructure) course, you'll learn to plan, design and deploy a physical and logical Windows Server 2012 R2 enterprise infrastructure. You'll develop the skills needed to provide an enterprise solution that supports manual and automated server installations in a physical and virtual environment.

You'll develop an understanding and the hands-on practical skills to design and implement a forest and domain infrastructure and provide enterprise networking solutions such as DHCP, IPAM, VPN and DirectAccess.

Some other skills you will master throughout the course include:

  • Plan server update and migration
  • Design and maintain an IP configuration and address management solution
  • Design and implement a Group Policy Object (GPO) strategy
  • Plan and implement storage and file services
  • Design and implement network protection and remote access services

You'll learn all of this through our unique Lecture | Lab | Review technique. This approach combines theoretical knowledge with practical tasks to accelerate your learning and ensure you develop the necessary hands-on skills needed for when you return to work.

We're Microsoft Learning Partners, which means you'll have access to Microsoft Official Curriculum and benefit from our experienced Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCT).

In just 3 days, you will be prepared for and sit the 70-413: Designing and Implementing a Server Infrastructure exam. This is covered by your Certification Guarantee. Exam 70-413 acts as an elective for the MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure certification.

If you are responsible for planning, designing and deploying a physical and a logical Windows Server 2012 enterprise Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) infrastructure including the network services necessary, this course is ideal for you.
