Overview
On this accelerated ISACA IoT Fundamentals course, you'll gain knowledge of IoT concepts and IoT-enabled technologies from an operational point of view, and with an eye of how IoT impacts business opportunities, risks and more.
In just one day, you’ll learn how to enable yourself to advance and prove your practical skills in applying technologies needed to leverage IoT. You'll also learn how to:
- Affirm your knowledge of basic IoT concepts, principles, and enabling technologies
- Validate your ability to use IoT operating systems and applications
- Advise the enterprise in its use, potential rewards and implications
At the end of this course, you'll sit your ISACA IoT Fundamentals exam, and achieve your certification. - Module 1: Explain each of the components of the IoT Network and their function
- Module 2: Provide use cases where actuators and sensors work together
- Module 3: Describe the components of a physical security system
- Module 4: Describe the purpose of middleware and how it functions within the IoT network
- Module 5: Summarise the key features of middleware
- Module 6: Explain the methods available for authenticating and protecting data
- Module 7: Describe the function of the three key elements of the IoT architecture
