On this accelerated course, you'll learn how to:

  • Successfully execute process capability assessments using COBIT 5
  • Apply the Process Assessment Model (PAM)
    • Use the Process Reference Model
    • Apply and analyse process capability levels with the measurement model
    • Apply and analyse capability dimension using the PAM
  • Identify and assess responsibilities and roles within the process capability assessment procedure
  • Execute and assess the 7 steps in the Assessor Guide:
    • Initiate a process assessment
    • Scope an assessment, using the tools provided and the PAM for the selection of the appropriate processes
    • Plan and brief the teams
    • Collect and validate data
    • Perform process attribute rating
    • Report the findings of the assessment
  • Navigate the self-assessment guide

Exam Track

You'll sit the following exam to earn your COBIT 5 Assessor for Security certification:

  • COBIT 5 Assessor Exam
    • Exam format: Objective testing
    • Total number of questions: 8 (each worth 10 marks)
    • Exam duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes
    • Required Passing Score: 50% (40 marks)
