Overview
On this accelerated EC-Council Information Security Manager course, you’ll gain critical knowledge concerning the development and maintenance of a successful information security programme.
In just 5 days, you’ll gain the skills necessary to apply your existing deep technical knowledge to business problems. This course is ideal if you want to diversify your certification portfolio and stand out in the IT security leadership marketplace.
At the end of this course, you’ll sit the EC-Council Certified CISO Exam ODE (712-50) and achieve your EC-Council Information Security Manager certification. The EISM exam is a light version of the CCISO exam and tests the fundamentals of information security management.

Audience
This course is ideal if you do not yet have the 5 years of experience required to take the CCISO certification but want to push your new information security career forward using the same resources as seasoned professionals.
The EISM programme is ideal for you if:
- You do not meet the minimum experience requirements for the CCISO certification
- You are more interested in a management career path than in a technical one
- You have strong management skills and have worked in the information security industry for at least three years
- You are interested in one day obtaining a position as a CISO

At the end of this accelerated course, you’ll sit the following exam at the Firebrand Training centre, covered by your Certification Guarantee:

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this accelerated course.
Candidates who do not yet have 5 years of information security experience in at least 3 of the 5 CCISO Domains can still pursue a management certification to help propel their careers and put them on fast track toward obtaining the CCISO. EISM students must attend training – the same CCISO training that upper level executives attend – before attempting the EISM exam. There are no experience requirements for this exam.
