Overview

On Firebrand’s accelerated training for Juniper’s JNCIA-Junos (IJOS & JRE) certification, you’ll get the knowledge required to work with the Junos operating system and configure Junos devices.

In just 2 days, you’ll study user interface options (with a focus on command-line interface), secondary system configuration and get an overview of general routing concepts, routing policy and firewall filters.

Firebrand’s course delivers knowledge equivalent to Juniper's recommended Introduction to the Junos Operating System (IJOS) and Junos Routing Essentials (JRE) training courses. You’ll also take your JN0-102 exam during the course, which is covered by your Certification Guarantee.

On Firebrand’s course, you’ll study:

  • Junos Operating System (OS)
    • Basic design architecture
    • Junos CLI navigation
    • Junos factory-default state
    • Initial and secondary configuration tasks
    • How to upgrade Junos OS
  • Junos Routing Essentials
    • Basic routing operations and concepts
    • Static routing & OSPF
    • Routing policy
    • Firewall filters and how to apply them

Get hands-on with Juniper Networks SRX Services Gateways and use the Junos OS during the labs. You’ll learn through live demonstrations and labs as you gain experience in configuring and monitoring.

If you’re responsible for configuring and monitoring devices running the Junos OS, attaining the Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA-Junos) certification is ideal for you.

Plus, Firebrand’s course is designed to be your starting point to earning Juniper’s advanced security certification - JNCIS-SEC.
