Overview

On this accelerated SECO Institute Data Protection Foundation course, you’ll learn about data protection and privacy, their rights and responsibilities under privacy laws and regulations and the GDPR in specific, and how to implement and manage them into your business.

In just 2 days, you will gain a thorough understanding of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), interpreting its terminology and provisions supported with practical examples and scenarios. You’ll also build knowledge on:

• Legal instruments of the Council of Europe and the European Union (Treaty, directive, regulation…)
• History of the right to privacy and the right to data protection
• The Foundation of your House: Terms and Scope

At the end of this course, you’ll sit the SECO Institute Data Protection Foundation exam, and achieve your certification. Through Firebrand’s Lecture | Lab | Review methodology, you’ll get access to courseware, learn from certified instructors, and train in a distraction-free environment.
