The accelerated ITIL® 4 Leader: Digital and IT Strategy certification is a unique course that explores the enabling of business success through the creation of digital and IT strategies. The content of this learning programme demonstrates how digital and IT strategy can help to shape, influence and drive strategic business decisions and organisational change, in line with the agile and evolving customer and business landscape and provides guidance about crafting a digital vision and shaping IT and business strategies.

On this course you will gain guidance about crafting a digital vision and shaping IT and business strategies. Digital and IT Strategy will be invaluable for leaders across your organization, including directors, department heads, and aspiring C-Suite professionals. This course will help you to: Develop a cross-organizational digital strategy; Craft a digital vision drive operational excellence; Respond to digital disruption; Enable a sustainable business; Strategically manage risk; Develop digital leaders for the future.

The course will enable both developing a deeper learning around strategic concepts and allowing delegates to prepare for a series of mandatory in-course assessed assignments. These assignments are a crucial element of the learning programme and are designed to allow delegates to demonstrate they have grasped the key digital and IT strategy principles and that they can apply them to the associated AXELOS issued case study. This case study will be supplied to delegates as part of the pre-course work so enabling a smooth start to the first day of the learning programme.

In just 2 days, you’ll learn to align and manage your enterprise, IT, and digital strategies, using ITIL 4 concepts. You’ll also learn how to:

At the end of this course, you’ll sit the PeopleCert (Axelos) exam, and achieve your ITIL® 4 Leader: Digital and IT Strategy Certification certification. At the end of this accelerated course, you’ll sit the following exam at the Firebrand Training centre, covered Certification Guarantee:

  • Duration: 60 minutes
  • Format: Multiple choice; Closed book
  • Number of questions: 30 questions
  • Passing score: 21 out of 30 marks required to pass (70%)

Case study assessment:

Duration:

  • Three assignments of 60 minutes, one assignment of 90 minutes in the group work format, or
  • Four individual written assignments of 60 minutes each in individual format.
  • 40 marks
  • 75% or higher – a raw score of 30 marks or above

Prerequisites

Before attending this accelerated course, you should have:

  • Learners must have an ITIL 4 Foundation certificate, or have attended and passed ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition.
  • Due to the unique nature of this learning programme which includes mandatory assessment activity delegates MUST also demonstrate evidence of at least 3 years managerial experience when booking on to this course.
  • Have obtained the ITIL 4 Managing Professional designation due to broad ranging nature of the strategic content of this course.
