Achieving Cisco IP Telephony Operations Specialist Certification is critical for those whose primary role is to operate and maintain IP Telephony multi-service network solutions. The Cisco IP Telephony Operations Specialist Certification designates candidates as having the fundamental knowledge and skills required to troubleshoot Enterprise Call Manager, Unity and IP network deployments as well as deploying Quality of Service. IP Telephony Troubleshooting Exam
The Cisco IP Telephony Troubleshooting exam will certify that the successful candidate has important knowledge and skills necessary to troubleshoot Enterprise CallManager, Unity, and IP network deployments. The IP Telephony Troubleshooting exam is one of two exams in a curriculum that addresses both design/planning practices and hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting AVVID solutions.

Quality of Service Exam
The QOS 642-642 exam will test materials covered under the Implementing Cisco Quality of Service QOS v2.0 course. The exam will certify that the successful candidate has knowledge and skills necessary to configure and troubleshoot Cisco IOS routers running Quality of Service protocols in Service Provider and Enterprise environments. The exam covers topics on IP QOS, classification and marking Mechanisms, queuing mechanisms, traffic shaping and policing mechanisms, congestion avoidance mechanisms, link efficiency mechanisms, modular QOS command line interface, and QOS Best Practices.

Prerequisites
Students that are eligible to attend the IP Telephony Operations Specialist Certification Training program must possess:
- A valid CCNA certification
- Experience with the Catalyst Command Line Interface (CLI)
- A fundamental understanding of QoS in IP environments
- Basic understanding of VoIP concepts
- An understanding of IP addressing and subnetting
Based upon experience, it is recommended that students undergoing this course attend the CCNP bootcamp to ensure exposure to Cisco Catalyst CLI and QoS concepts.
