Overview
The Cisco CCNA Voice course is designed to you with a foundation in voice applications and infrastructure concepts. Through a combination of classroom lecture and practical exercises you'll be able to develop your skills in installation, operating and maintenance of Cisco Voice solutions. The CCNA Voice certification validates your skills VoIP technologies such as IP PBX, IP telephony, handset, call control, and voicemail solutions. It is also a required step towards the CCNP Voice certification.
During the course you'll gain the skill set specialised for job roles in voice technologies, such as voice technologies administrator, voice engineer, and voice manager who are usually employed by large organisations such as governments, large companies, and colleges. You'll also gain skills related to the Cisco CallManager Express (CME) and Cisco Unity Express (CUE) solutions, which are typically used by small-to-medium organisations.
You'll obtain a working knowledge of voice principles and practices including:
- Understanding the components in Cisco’s Unified Communications architecture

Exams
This course prepares you for the Cisco 640-461 ICOMM v8.0 (Introducing Cisco Voice and Unified Communications Administration) exam. The concentration exam renews your CCNA / CCNP certification for a further three years.

Prerequisites
